BOOK REVIEW/OPINION: The Suicide Collectors

I won't go into plot summary because you can find that somewhere else.

This book had potential from the start, but a distorted ending ruined it for me. I can usually take a average or bad ending but this book goes beyond my limits of acceptance. I give it three stars for the start of the book where we can see ideas about relationships and society as well as the human desire and we see Norman grow as a person but I would have to agree with others in saying that the authors seemed to get tired of characters and killed them off as well as introducing characters and making them go nowhere (that girl he meets at the underground base).

The ending of this book gives out a creepy feel but the ending is still distorted and this creepiness isn't enough to cover the bad plot ending.

That said this book still has some good traits and while I don't necessarily recommend it I also think it can be worth reading.

Book rating: 3/5
